john's got brewers droop he gets intimidated by the dirty pigeons, they love a bit of him… parklife
when i first started offering prints for sale on this blog i had to reprocess a bunch of my photos as i never used to create high resolution versions of my images. i spent a week or so in lima putting these together but i only focussed on shots which i'd posted from 2011 onwards. a couple of days ago i decided to work on some of my 2010 south american photos and as of today i've completed about 70% of that. it can be pretty time consuming when all i have to work with is an unprocessed original image and a low resolution photoshop file. it's also made me realise how much i've changed in two and a half years when it comes to creating images. there are some creative choices which i had to recreate that i would never think of doing now. the overblown contrast in hey mate or the green hue to the faro or cemetario just seem wrong. having said that there are still shots that i'm proud of, such as the wine sniffer and cloudy towers, so don't let my self criticism discourage you.
