with great tunnel vision, we'd built ourselves a mission, to ride on bullets inside, oh what a vain description, of what we had been missing, so why would anyone try?
i remember when i put up my first photo from buenos aires my friend told me that, certainly compared to my previous posts, it was terrible. actually i'm not sure if he even added that qualification, he just didn't like it at all. and i know why, it's out of focus and lacking any real subject matter and i'd taken 'better' photos in the city at that point. but there was something i liked - and still do - about it, so i preferred it to other images from my memory card. i think the same can be said about this photo. while it's not as blurry or subjectless as the argentinian street, i have shots that i took at the same time which are sharper and contain more detail. but i kept on returning to this image, and eventually realised that it was my favourite of the bunch. so if you don't like i'm absolutely fine with that, i like it and that's enough.

having said that if you do like it then i'm absolutely more happy with that
