busking for change

busking for change
busking for change and changing everything, feeble fables aren't changing many things, it's my time to shine like a tuna in the brine, for my pregnant paws aren't changing anything
when i was in my first year of uni my friends bought me a piggy bank in the shape of an oversized bottle of budweiser. it was over 60cm tall and clearly intended as one of those joke gifts, not designed to be completely filled with coins, which is probably why i made it my objective to do just that. over the next 10 years i would deposit 1 pence, 2 pence and 5 pence coins whenever i had some spare, and by the time i left the country to go travelling it was around 90% full. upon my return i moved it from a storage unit in leeds to a storage unit in london, and noticed a small crack growing in the bottom of the bottle. fortunately i spotted it before a tidal wave of pennies rushed out, but it was only then that i fully appreciated how it was a joke gift and really not designed to be completely filled with coins. i should have been annoyed that after a decade i had failed my mission, but as it was both really heavy and really ugly i'm more than happy to just take the cash.
