looking at it objectively 2014 wasn't my most productive year for photography. i posted less photos than the year before, additionally spring time was pretty barren and i didn't post anything in the month of april. similarly shameful was the fact that i only visited two countries overseas, switzerland and france, both of which i'd been to before. but looking at it on a more positive note, i took a significant photographic step forward by getting a brand new slr for the first time in over 6 years. actually i got two new cameras if you include the gopro which i used to capture a particularly graceless tumble down a mountain. i also took new photos that i was particularly proud of, as well as discovering a few gems from my south american archives which filled me with a fond nostalgia. so i have a simple resolution for next year - more travelling and more photos - if i stick to it then 2015 should be fun. happy new year
