without warm water in my head, all i see is black and white and red, i feel mechanical and thin, hear me play my violin again
i've had another hiatus in updating this site due to a second work trip, this time around in the us of a. i spent a week working in miami, and then took a week's holiday in new york city. i returned to the uk on monday and it's taken another week for my sleep cycle to return to normal and not feel constantly tired from the whole experience. in that time i've realised that when people asked me about my trip my first response has always been to complain about the heat/humidity and how exhausting it was. so this tiny violin is for me, bitching about the ordeal of being paid and flown to have amazing adventures when most people are stuck in their familiar offices. looking back it's been a very cool couple of months - i'll tell you all about it in photo form over the forthcoming months.
