the absence of god will bring you comfort baby, and planning's for the poor so let's pretend that we're rich
as i (kind of) predicted i didn't manage to maintain my daily posting schedule and missed a couple of days. this photo was almost ready to go, but i wasn't completely happy with it so i chose to wait until i wasn't watching arsenal beat bayern munich 2-0 to finish it off. i took this back in may when i was in south africa, and i stopped outside this house just to take this photo. i stuck my camera through the gates, tried to compose the frame with the house in the middle and took the shot. i then saw my colleague was standing a little to the right as he took his picture, and i was so impressed when i saw his results that i took another from his vantage point. i thought it was funny how my instincts were to go for symmetry whereas his eyes saw a different angle and composition. i can't decide which angle i prefer, but i certainly like them both enough that i've no qualms about posting a picture of the same house and mountain.
