blue on blue, heartache on heartache, blue on blue, now that we are through
after seeing the dimming sun from atop a hill we set off west in the hope that we'd turn a corner and see it again before it disappeared below the horizon. however we only lasted a few minutes before driving along side crummock water and seeing this serene reflection. i wanted to frame the shot with the wooden fence in the corner of the image, which required balancing somewhat precariously on a stone wall. we never saw the sun again that day, but that's fine, cos i saw some pretty stars a few hours later.
