and when the days that followed passed, in another mansion built to last, from our window we could see, only possibilities, down the road and back
exactly one month ago i flew from cape town to namibia with two mates from work to begin a week long road trip around the country. we had the privilege of making our travels in this beast of a vehicle, the appropriately named legend 45. it had two tanks of petrol to let us drive for days without filling up, two batteries, one of which was connected to a fridge in the back, and two spare tyres... one of which was very necessary on our final night. as you can see it also had two tents which popped out from the roof, where we slept about half of the trip. it seemed to have everything, and we made good use out of it driving over 3000km in 7 days. there's plenty more pictures from the week to come, this one was midway into the trip at a campsite in spitzkoppe. we arrived after the sun had set so could only really make out the dark shapes of rocks and mountains. this long exposure gave a sneak preview of the awesome landscape we would witness when the sun rose the next morning.
