testmeat photoblog

4th December 2007

tim

i've spent the last week or so working on redesigning the website and here is the result. i've gone green. as you may notice, one main difference between the previous version and this is that i've rounded the corners on all the images. this was a bugger to try and get to work, and i don't know how popular the decision will be. do people like corners? you can always look at the site through the old design. in fact if you are really old school you could look at the first incarnation of the photoblog, (although i'd rather you didn't as it's not very good).

there are a couple of new features here too. i've now 'tagged' all of the images so if you look under each photo you will find keywords relating to that image. click on these to view similarly tagged photos. i've also added a more reliable facility to invert the style, which means you can view the site with either a white or black background. there are certain photos that look very different (and better) with a dark background. you can change this by clicking the circle at the right hand side of the menu. bar.

anyways, i hope you like the new look. as for this picture, it's over a year old and i took it shortly after getting my current camera and started to have fun with light and long exposures. i balanced the camera on the fridge in my old flat in shipley and used a torch to write out my name.
