you're such a beautiful freak, i wish there were more just like you, you're not like all of the others, and that is why i love you
ok, enough of the strange and cool humans, this week's theme is now strange and cool animals. i saw enough in madagascar that i'm only going to select shots from that country, starting with one of the more colourful specimens. i had already come across a few chameleons earlier in my trip, but most were either small, less vivid or hiding in the dark, so it was exciting to see this big guy out in the daytime sun. i think it may be a parson's chameleon, however there are over 200 different species so there's a good chance i've got that wrong. either way i think it's both ugly and beautiful at the same time.
