this is another shot from when i went to see the smashing pumpkins at men arena. i don't usually like arena gigs, there tends to be a different kind of atmosphere which i think stems from the fact that you're quite far away from the stage. however the last time i saw the pumpkins was at leeds festival last year where i really was far away from the stage (i didn't even post a picture - the best i could muster was a pumpkins flag) so in comparison i felt pretty close. still, the arena was far from full so it would have been a lot better if they'd played somewhere a bit smaller like the apollo - you get really close there.

i changed the colour in this from yellow to red. not sure why i did, i guess just because. anyways, here's the original
