i did slightly regret not having a better zoom lense when i was out on safari - i mean there's only so close you can get to the animals to take pictures before you start to piss them off. for the non photographers on board, they were able to satisfy this with binoculars, for the serious photographers they just changed to a better lense. as for me, i improvised and stuck the binocluars in front of my camera to take this picture. not quite the same as a greater zoom but i quite like the effect.
