i haven't put up a photo for a while as i was on holiday in scotland last week, and then going through the holiday photos on the weekend. that's now out the way so i can start posting again. this was taken on the accurately named isle of bute when we went on a walk along the coast. i was expecting miserable weather but was really surprised, in fact the weather and the scenery strangely reminded me of south africa. i was processing this photo to boost the blue sky and blue sea but at the last minute decided to give it this green tinge. if i'd had stopped a few minutes earlier then i probably would have posted this version
