i think this is one of the signs that the summer is coming to an end, strange then that i would see it on (what felt like) one of the hottest days of the year. the sun was just rising so the long shadow caught my eye. i was also caught between whether to take a photo or continue forwards to catch my bus. the bus led to a coach so it would have started to get costly if i missed the connection. the compromise in my head was to take three quick photos, and then do a little jog to the waiting bus. two of the photos were out of focus, and this was a bit overexposed, but i managed to make the bus and the subsequent nine hour round trip to london... woo
