it snowed again last night, and a bit this morning, so the conditions were perfect for some fun in the snow. none for me though, i had to go to work and do some last minute christmas shopping... not so fun. while walking up the hill on the way to work i thought it would be great to sledge down. you can't really appreciate it in that photo as the steep bit is behind the camera, and there's a lot more snow there now. i'm not sure what's at the very bottom of the hill, once you cross over the footpath, so that could add an element of danger to the whole thing. anyways, i took this in york when i was over on the weekend. this type of sledging looks somewhat safer, unless a 4x4 came careening around the corner and took them both out. yeah, i'm pretty sure that didn't happen.
