this is a self portrait i took on the second day of the inca trail. the hat i'm wearing was actually an impulse purchase i bought just as i was setting off on day one. the sun was beating down and i noticed pretty much everyone around me had planned for this with headwear of their own. i would have preferred a more fashionable piece of attire, but there wasn't too much of a browsing, shopping experience to be had at the beginning of the trail. as a result i just picked up the only one i could find, so i think this shadow is probably the coolest it could ever look.
